Organic Teas:

Karin and Greg of Little City Farm have provided us with some beautiful, aromatic and soothing herbal teas. These wonderful non-caffeinated herbal blends of organic plants were grown, harvested, dried and packaged right at Little City Farm in Kitchener. Find a tea to suit any mood and enjoy it alongside one of Golden Hearth’s scrumptious cookies, biscotti or a croissant! (alright… maybe two)

Locally Made Artisan Chocolates:

Katharina Ortner of Anna Tolazzi is a local chocolatier whom can truly be labelled an artist. These divine bars of irresistibly smooth and creamy chocolate are made with a commitment to quality and beauty from organic ingredients (including fair trade organic cocoa). You will be able to find a selection of these bars available for individual purchase as well as part of our holiday gift baskets. Be tempted, you certainly won’t be disappointed.

Our Organic Spelt Bread - The only 100 Mile Loaf in Waterloo Region

Aside from coming down and visiting us at the Bakery or picking up selected goodies at retailers listed HERE, you might wonder if it’s possible to find a large selection of our products in one place – and the answer is yes! Through locally and organically focused buying clubs (namely Bailey’s Local Foods and The Commons Market) you can order a selection of pantry, grocery and produce items to satisfy your hunger for the coming weeks and months.

Bailey’s has a wide array of locally sourced goods and treats available and we encourage you to check out all they have to offer! Currently, pick up days are on Mondays, although this changes seasonally. Being a part of Bailey’s Local Foods is one way that we act on our beliefs in a sustainable local food system. It is good to be aware of what the options are for eating locally any time of year, as well as getting to know the farmers that grow and nurture the food that we eat! It’s great for a quick dinner on a work night or a fun way to get kids involved in making supper. Simply throw the 500g of dough into the fridge the night before to thaw (or even on the counter a couple hours ahead of time), stretch out into a roundish shape, load with sauce, toppings and cheese and throw it into a hot oven! You have to admit, it’s pretty hard to beat homemade pizza with all your favourite toppings – FRESH out of YOUR oven.

We pack our white or whole-wheat pizza dough into 500g rounds which are available frozen Wednesday through Saturday. If you haven’t had a chance yet to try our pizza dough, it might just be time!

• Whole Wheat Multigrain —By far one of the most popular.  We use Organic Whole Grain Whole Wheat and then jam it full of 7 organic grains.

• Flax Raisin Walnut —The creamy texture of walnuts alongside the sweetness of raisins and wholesome nuttiness of flax seeds make this a delicious breakfast bread (among other uses of course!)

• Pain Levain —A beautiful Artisan boule, it keeps for nearly a week so that you’ll have plenty of time to get through all two pounds of this favourite.  This bread is made using a sourdough starter and contains no commercial yeast.

• Whole Wheat/Whole Rye —We have combined the irresistible taste and goodness of our whole grain wheat with whole grain rye.  This is available in a small loaf size and is perfect for a couple or single person.

• Epi —our little french stick.  She is made up of small little leaves joined together to form a perfect stick.  We dare you to get this home in one piece!

• Rosemary Foccacia —A classic Italian Bread.  Made with pure olive oil and fresh rosemary.

Breads that are ONLY available on Saturdays:

• Olive Fougasse —a southern French olive bread that looks like a tree.  This is great bread for pulling apart and dipping.

• Schiacciata con l’uva — Foccacia’s less famous brother.  Instead of Rosemary we have added fennel and sweet grapes.

• Brioche —This light egg bread melts in your mouth.  We have made it the classic french way using lots of butter…. Better come early ‘cause it sells out fast!

• 100 mile organic Spelt — The only 100 mile bread available in the area.  A wonderful alternative to traditional wheat and easier to digest.

• 90% Whole Rye * (Available only every other Saturday) — In this dark, dense loaf, the flavour of rye is rich and comes through unadulterated; a mildly sour bread it contains no commercial yeast and is a wholesome accompaniment to smoked salmon and cream cheese.

• *New* Pane Siciliano —This uniquely shaped bread resembles an ‘S’ and is light, buttery and fluffy with a thin crust – differentiating it from the more rustic loaves that we bake. The taste of durum semolina comes through and is clearly observable in the light golden crumb of this crowd-pleaser.

• *Seasonal* Apple Sourdough — Featuring local seasonal food, this bread features chunks of local apples and apple cider as well as some local organic whole wheat to enhance the mild yet well rounded flavours of this loaf.

Cafe M located in The Museum in Kitchener makes delicious creations using our bread.  They also have Ultimate Gingers, Oatmeal cookies and Belgian Crackles.

Seven Shores in Waterloo has a wonderful selection of our fresh baked goods, including our plain and chocolate croissants.

Casa Mia in Waterloo uses our Rosemary Foccacia for their sandwiches.

Oakridge Acres in Ayr carries a wide selection of our products.

C’est Cheese Please in Cambridge has a wide variety of our products.
